A Note About Diplomas

Diplomas will not be distributed during the UGIS Commencement Ceremony. Graduates will receive commemorative scrolls as they march across the stage.

Receiving your Degree

Degrees are approved approximately 2.5 months after the end of each Fall, Spring, and Summer term. Diplomas will be mailed to your permanent address automatically about four months after your degree is approved. If you need proof of degree completion before your diploma arrives, please contact the Office of the Registrar to request a Certificate of Completion.
